Baby Shower Onesie Craft

I finally had the Paddington Bear Shower.

I have so much to share, but for now I just want to show you the craft project we did.

Since it was such an intimate affair (about 9 ladies) we were able to facilitate a great craft project.

We decorated onesies for Stephanies’ new baby.  We all know how many onesies you can go through in a day with a newborn.  Between diaper blowouts and spit ups, you can never have enough.

Here is what you need for this project:

8-10 fat quarter pieces in various colors and designs

Heat N Bond Ultra- as much as you need to cover the backs of all your fabric pieces

(make sure you get the red package that says No Sew)

Scissors

A few packs of onesies- at least one for each guest.

Shape Templates- we used shapes I cut on my cricut, that I printed online and cookie cutters

Iron

1. Iron your fabric to one side of the Heat N Bond- leave the paper side on.

2.  Cut your shapes- I had my guests cut thier own shapes and designs

3.  Place on onesie in your own design

4.  Iron on!

Simple as that.

My guests had a blast creating these.  Some girls did 2 or 3, which was great!

Here are all of our creations.  I think they turned out great.

After they are done, mommy just has to remember to wash them in cool water.

Wouldn’t it be fun to make a fun fabric scrap tutu to go with these???  Check out this one here… we may have to make her one to go with her onesies.

Hope you enjoy this project as much as we did.
