This mirror has followed me from room to room trying to find the perfect spot.
It began in my master bath four years ago.
Then it migrated to the living room. After painting my walls gray it didnt’ quite look right, so I gave her a little facelift.
I taped the mirrror and the pretty copper trim off so that I didn’t get paint on it.
Then I brushed on my favorite white… Snowy Pine by Behr. Here is my helper painting in the groves of the design.
It didn’t look quite right after it was painted white, all the cool designs just disappeared.
I put on some gloves and took a rag, dipped it in some gel stain and rubbed it on so that the stain would tarnish the groves. Then I took a clean damp rag and wiped it off. I love the way it turned out!
I love how you can see all of the beautiful carved designs.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! Very pretty! I think I’ll try this on my cabinets using a crescent moon for a base color!
