Party Inspiration: Strawberry

Sometimes I just get an itch to put a party together, but I don’t have an outlet for it.  This is going to be a new thing I do now and then.  Share party inspirations.  Basically like a party from top to bottom.

One of my friends was thinking about having a strawberry themed party for her daughters spring birthday.  This prompted my creative juices to flow.  So here you go, a stawberry themed birthday inspiration!

Without further ado, let the party begin!

I know my friend would want to make homemade cake for her daughter.  Baking and Cooking, a tale of Two Loves has a delish recipe for yummy strawberry cupcakes.

You could adorn your cupcakes with these adorable cupcake wraps from Shop Sweet Lulu.

On to more food.  These strawberry kabobs with yogurt dip would please any child!  The recipe is on Confessions of a Foodie Bride.

You could serve berry sparklers in these sweet bottles from Sweet Lulu.  If you had them all bottled up and on ice, they would be ready to grab and go.

A pink and white striped tablecloth would be perfect for a strawberry themed event.  This fabric from Amazon is only $5.98 per yard and would make a darling and affordable tablecloth.

How about a beautiful show stopping centerpiece???  This strawberry topiary is jaw dropping.  I found this one on Maddycake’s Muse with a list of other fun centerpieces.

I love this tissue paper strawberry on Sara’s Party Perfect!  So cute and would be easy to diy!

The birthday girl would look quite festive in this adorable party hat found on Etsy.

Adding a little visual interest and height always makes a party feel more fun and festive.  I love fabric bunting flags!  These are found on Etsy.

Each child could plant thier own strawberry in a pot for a messy but fun activity.  More details on that here.

I love the idea of sending home favors that are not plastic junk!  This edible favor option would be quite tasty.  Yummmy homemade strawberry jam.  Kids love jam!  Directions can be found on The Wedding Chicks Blog.

There you go, a fun strawberry themed party from top to bottom.  Hope you had as much fun at the party as I did.  Haha.  I can still taste those strawberry cupcakes!

  1. Anna, Strawberry fabric would make a lovely table cloth or runner, or even napkins! Oh, napkins! I have such a soft spot for fun printed cloth napkins! I can’t wait to see if you do a strawberry party, you do such darling events for your children!

  2. I love your ideas! Several years ago, some friends and I hosted a birthday party for one of our friends and we went with a strawberry theme! It was so fun. I even bookmarked the same topiary! Last year, I bought some darling fabric with strawberries on it thinking that I might need to have a strawberry party for the children. Maybe this is the year!

    All of your ideas could be incorporated into either a child’s party, baby shower, or adult birthday. Very versatile ideas!;)
