Cape Cod Home

When visiting my grandparents in Cape Cod a couple of weeks ago, I got to see thier new Cape Cod home for the first time.

It is just lovely.  I love Cape Cod style.

Here are a few pictures of thier home, I fell in love with it.  Everything was so light and bright and open.

Here are a few shots I took of thier home.

I mean really, how charming is this house?!  Adorable.

Here is a shot from the back side showing that it is not a small house, it is 3 stories.

The back patio was picturesque and the perfect spot for entertaining.  We enjoyed many evenings out there with a glass of wine during our visit.

The property is lakeside so out that gate leads to a fishing lake.

Thier backyard is large and lovely with a play area, bocce ball court and a putting green, not to mention the lovely landscaping and bushes.

The backyard backs up to the woods where there are trails to walk.

Don’t even get me started on thier kitchen.  You all know I have a soft spot for a white kitchen.  LOVE.

The entire first level has big dark exposed beams.

There are fun little nooks and crannys all over the place.  This little bed is in my grandmothers dressing room.  Yes, she has a dressing room.  I am way jealous.

Isn’t it charming?!  I am in love with all things Cape Cod, and this house is included.

I didn’t take pictures of our guest quarters, but they were great.  The area of the house where we stayed had its own full kitchen, a lovely bathroom with a deep soaking tub, and a fun game room.  There is everything a guest could need!

I am so happy that they found this lovely spot.  They seem to be so happy there, and we are so happy to go visit!

xoxo
