We have a few updates in our kitchen.  No, not that kitchen!  We just renovated our kitchen, you can see the details on that here.

I am talking about Lucas’ play kitchen.

I thought he needed a few little updates to make his space a little more playable.

I made this little treat stand out of 2 melamine plates from Target and a glass candle holder.  It is holding some of his play desserts and some fruit.

I hung 2 cd holders (remember cds!?) to use as decorative shelving.  I spray painted them blue to add a little more fun.

How cute is that little hand towel?  It is actually a cloth napkin from the Privet House collection they had at Target.  I thought it was a perfect little touch.

The table and chairs is a perfect spot to sit and have a delightful meal.  I found the table a few years back at Target, it has been quite the versatile piece for a mere $15.  The stools are from Ikea.  Love finding cute things for the boys room that are not too expensive!

On top of the fridge lives a little basket of play food.  Cheese, fruit and a baguette anyone?

Now the boys have a cute kitchen too!

To many people’s surprise, boys like to play with a play kitchen too.  They love to play restaurant.  They serve eachother food and cook up a storm in there almost every day!
