We planted two new green friends in our yard!
I am so excited to see how they grow.
The first is in our play area. She is pretty small still, but I am excited to see how she fills out the area.
The second little friend was picked out by Ezra. As we were perusing the trees in our local nursery he spoted an apple tree with two little apples on it. He begged, Can I please please have an apple tree? I told him we didn’t need an apple tree, what would we do with an apple tree in our yard? He continued to beg. Then he did the unimaginable. He had been saving his birthday money/christmas money/ easter money that he recieved from relatives and had around $150 saved. He told me he wanted to use his birthday money to buy the apple tree! It was $40.
How could I say no to that?!
So here is Ezra’s little apple tree.

It’s wonderful that Ezra was willing to do that! You might consider getting one more tree to insure that he gets some apples. A lot of the fruit trees are self sterile and even if the other tree is of the same variety, you’ll get a ton more fruit. Also might want to pull the assorted tags off before the trees grow around them and create a weak spot. Have fun!!

Just like his mama!:) That’s great that he loves apples that much. My kids would’ve wanted something different for $40.:)
