Things on Thursday: Things To Do in Summer

I am in utter dispair that our summer is almost over.  Seriously, school starts for us in 19 days!

That means we have just a few weeks to do some of the things we wanted to do this summer, but have not gotten to.

Here are some things we have done this summer.

Swimming Lessons-  Look at Ezra at the Pool.  This is his happy place.

Science Camp

Trip to Cape Cod-  You can See that HERE

Go out on the Boat

Go to the Beach

Gardened- More on that HERE

BBQ’d

Make improvements to the Yard and Patio-  HERE and HERE

Stay Up Late and Sleep In (We do this when we can, wish it was more often.)

Go to the Drive in- Our town has one of the few drive ins in the country that is still in operation.  We love to go with the kids, get an old fashioned burger and watch some movies outdoors.

Plant Trees- We did that HERE

Play in the Kiddie Pool

Pick Apricots from Grandma’s Tree  (Mmmm… we made apricot butter)

Pajama Day

Have A Garage Sale (Yes!  Made a little over $150)

Bike Rides

Golfing- this is more my husband than the rest of us

Drinks on the Patio of The Bridges

Fishing

Go to Glenwood Adventure Park- Peak into that Adventure HERE

Trip to Denver

Here are some things we would still like to get in before summer is over:

Picnic in the mountains

Pick Wild Flowers

Main in Motion (This is a downtown activity in our town in the summer)

Camping

Hiking

More Bike Rides

More BBQs

Sleep in the Backyard

Play Mini Golf

Farmer’s Market (since we are coop gardening with my parents we haven’t had the need yet)

I am confident we can accomplish all of our ideas before summer comes to a close!  Did you have a summer bucket list?  Did I forget anything super fun?

If you need more ideas to fill up the dog days of summer, check out another bloggers bucket list HERE.  It is a good one!
